Neha Dhupia had remained an unsung actress.

Neha Dhupia had always remained an unsung actress. Being the daughter of Commander Pradip Dhupia, she strong aggressive army background. She even studied in Naval Public School, Cochin, and also Army Public School, Dhaula Kuan, New Delhi. The viewers had seen Neha Dhupia in TV Serials like Rajdhani and know her from an age of five.

In respect of her career in bollywood films, she started her innings with Pyar Kiya Do Darna Kya in 1997. She attracted the attention of the producers and directors with her Miss India Universe Crown in 2002. Although her initial films like Qayamat: City Under Threat, did moderate business, she created her identity in a bold role in the film Julie.

In Kya Kool Hai Hum, she played a romantic role opposite Ritesh Deshmukh where Tushar Kapoor and Isha Kopikaar formed the other pair. Ritesh Deshmukh loved Neha Dhupia, but got attached with her brother who was a gay character without knowing his identity. The identity was revealed at the end of the film. Even Isha Kopikaar, a police officer under the instruction of Anupam Kher considered Tushar Kapoor to be a criminal, but after knowing that he was innocent saved him.

In Chup Chup Ke, she did a greater job than Kareena Kapoor. She was the sister of the dumb girl played by Kareena Kapoor. Kareena fell in love with Shahid Kapoor who pretended to be dumb, and their relationship was created through the communication of Neha Dhupia. She helped Shahid Kapoor to speak on telephone and prevent Sunil Shetty, the brother of Kareena Kapoor from getting her married with another person. She concealed the identity of Shahid Kapoor in the house even after knowing that he was not dumb. Neha’s role was as important as any of the senior actors in the film like Om Puri or Paresh Rawal.

In Singh is Kinng, Neha Dhupia’s role was as important as Katrina Kaif’s role. She was part of the team of Sonu Sood, who got injured and was replaced by Akshay Kumar, who came to Australia to take Sonu Sood back to India. Neha Dhupia even showed her fighting stunts in the film, which she inherited from her father.

Even her dance numbers or special appearances in successful films like Heyy Babby, or Garam Masala require special mention. She was absolutely brilliant in Sanjay Dutt’s film Shootout at Lokhandwala.

It is very unfortunate that she had never got the credit which she deserved for her dynamic performances in successful films till date. The viewers expect that her performance in the films Cellphone, or Hot will establish her as a leading actress of bollywood films very soon.
