Happy birthday to Jeetender.

Happy birthday to Jeetender.

The viewers of bollywood films wish happy birthday to Jeetender, the golden hero of the 60s on 7th April, 2010. He has been considered as one of the most consistent actors who had steady box-office in the 60s, 70s and 80s.

In the early 60s, he started his career with the success in the film Geet Gaya Pattharone, opposite Rajashree. Bollywood industry was flooded with actors at that time including Showman Raj Kapoor, Tragedy King Dilip Kumar and the other matinee idols like Rajender Kumar, Pradeep Kumar, Shammi Kapoor, Bharat Bhushan and others. He had to face very strong competition to stay in the competition at that time.

Within a short period of time his dancing skills were cultivated by the directors and his films started making profits. His film Farz in 1967, opposite Babita, became super hit. The songs composed by LP and sung by Rafi created storms, including “mast baharon ka mai ashiq”, “baar baar din yeh aye”, etc. Besides, Jeetender’s dance performance in most of the songs entertained the viewers to a big extent.

From that time onwards, Jeetender had a great combination with LP, Rafi and Anand Bakshi. All the songs of the film Humjoli, Jeegri Dost and Banphool became superhit. Prominent songs included “mere desh me”, “dhal gaya din”, etc. Initially critics called Jeetender jumping jack, but his dancing skills followed by his acting skills made him a ruler in the 70s and 80s. He was blessed with romantic songs of Rafi and the composition of many brilliant composers of 60s and 70s. The songs of his film Mere Huzoor were equally romantic.

In 70s, he was probably the only romantic actor other than Rishi Kapoor, he survived the period relating to action films, when Big B, Vinod Khanna, Shatrughu Sinha and others gave hit action films one after the other. The hit films of Jeetender in the 70s include Karwan, Nagin, which continued in the 80s with the success of films like Asha opposite Reena Roy.

Jeetender also played a crucial in off-beat films of Gulzar like Parichay, Khushbu and Kinara where the intellectual audience had appreciated him. He gave very elegant lips in brilliant songs of Bhupinder Singh like “naam gum jayega”, “meethe bol bole”, etc. He transformed himself from an excited, energetic, youth to a reserve personality in Parichay, Khusbu and Kinara.

Jeetender’s in the 80s had compelled producers to launch him opposite young actresses like Sri Devi and Jaya Prada who were much younger than him in films like Himmatwala or Dharm Adhikari. After the launching of his son Tushar Kapoor in modern films, he had reduced acting in contemporary films.

But the viewers expect him to still continue in modern films in character roles just like before.

~Reasons why I should be British~

Do you ever sit and imagine how your life would be living in another country?

Or if somehow you were meant to be born in another country?!
(hypothetically speaking)

Ha ha . . . ok so here are a few reasons:

Why my hubby and I could totally be British:

:

1) I drive a lil red zippy Mini Cooper and LOVE it!!!
My hubby bought me little interior screw covers with the union jack on it lol.

2) We always listen to the BBC radio on Sirius FM
(Love it! Tinie Tempah, Cheryl Cole, Florence and the Machine

Chipmunk, etc. They just have great dance music:-)

3) My favorite sport to watch is FUTBOL (for us Americans: soccer)
and my fave team is Chelsea!

They are awesome, just sayin!

(And of course SOUNDERS!!! 1st game we're going to is April 17th)
(My hubby's fave team is Man U)
4) We LOVE pubs, and Strong Bow cider (mmmm).  Baps, Fish and Chips, Wedges, you name it we will eat it all up!
Our fave pub is George and the Dragon in Seattle.  AMAZING!!!

5) I think the British accent is stinkin adorable
(and pretend I have an accent sometimes hee hee)

6) We LOVE London! Love it love it!

(hot hubby last July in London)

(Taken in London on our first trip together! Valentine's Day in London= FAB!)

7) I love tea

Call us wanna-be's . . . and don't get me wrong we're "All Americans" and love our country

BUT I'd say we're American's with British tendencies?!

Tell me . . .
If you could live anywhere else where would it be, and why?!

Happy Wednesday Loves!!!

Shaapit will do good business.

Shaapit will do good business.

Vikram Bhatt’s new film Shaapit has prospects of doing good business. Aditya Narayan, the son of famous singer Udit Narayan had been provided the lead role in the film. Aditya Narayan had previously did landmark role in Salman Khan’s film Jab Pyar Kisi Se Hota Hai. He played the role of the son of Salman Khan in that film.

Rahul Dev and Shweta Agarwal were the other major performers in the film. At the beginning it is shown that Aditya Narayan got engaged with Shweta Agarwal. When they met with an accident their parents got involved. Apparently it was discovered that the family was cursed for the last 300 years.

The curse stated that no father could get their daughter married, if any girl child wanted to marry she would get killed. Aditya Narayan along with his friend Shubh Joshi went to Rahul Dev, a Professor in paranormal activities.

He comes to know from the history of the family, that one of the queens while being given death sentence by the king, told her mate that after her death her body should be preserved at a place which will be unknown to everyone. With the help of her spirits, she would not allow the following generation to live in peace. Only when her ashes will be immersed in water, there will be the end of the domination of her spirits.

Aditya Narayan, with the help of Rahul Dev and Shubh Joshi did the difficult work. They immersed the ashes in water. But before that they were assaulted by the force of the spirits. The film had good camera effects.

The performances of Aditya Narayan, Rahul Dev, Shubh Joshi and Shweta Agarwal were very impressive. The film is destined to do good business considering the innovative story and good direction.

Sonu Nigam require more romantic numbers in 2010.

Sonu Nigam require more romantic numbers in 2010.

There was a time whenever discussion hovered around recent romantic numbers in bollywood films, Sonu Nigam’s name emerged automatically.

It started with “hume jab se muhobbat ho gayi hai” in Border for Akshay Khanna. It continued in Refugee. The songs “panchi nadiya”, “aisa lagta hai”, “mere humsafar” composed by Anu Malik and picturized on Abhishek Bacchan.

After 2000, Sonu Nigam still gave romantic numbers like “piya bole piya bole” in Parineeta, composed by Shantanu Moitra for Saif Ali Khan, “pal pal pal pal pal pal, kaise katega pal” composed by Shantanu Moitra for Sanjay Dutt in Lage Raho Munnabhai.

Even the song “chup chup ke chup chup ke” from Bunty Aur Babli had romantic appeal. It was composed by Shankar Ehsaan Loy. Anu Malik’s composition for Sonu Nigam in Salman Khan’s Janeman titled “sau dard hai” had both pathos and romantic appeal embedded in them.

But in the last year excepting “kal nau baje” from the film Short Cut, he did not have striking number of romantic songs. In 2010, he should get back to romantic numbers which are most soothing in the years of listeners. These days very rarely romantic songs were composed.

Sonu Nigam’s song “phir se” in the film Toh Baat Pakki in 2010, or his song in Salman Khan’s film Veer, composed by Sajid Wajid is not as romantic as the songs of the previous films like Tumko Bhula Na Payenge, where the title song had a haunting effect.

Experimental songs do well and show the range of playback singers. But they don’t create a lasting impact. For example, Sonu Nigam’s song “all is well” in The Three Idiots became hit, but his followers want Sonu Nigam to get back to romantic songs where he had been elegant in the 90s. Let us hope for the best.

Heidi Montag will

With the hills, which are introduced into a field and shooting, Heidi Montag is looking forward to her career as an actress in "start full picture of the movement of time."

Write In fact, a script for the launch. I'm not even kidding. People across: One of the characters wants to play Sunday "is a lifeguard in the summer on a script he wrote himself called."

I have the first 3-D on the beach in a comedy shark attack on a small beach town and save the day with my 3-D tits, "said Monday." I also wrote an article for Dolly Parton to the Mayor to play! Let me clarify this point: all this time, Heidi Montag utmost secrecy, the writer of our generation? Jesus Christ.

Who saw that coming? James Cameron is likely to escape this area of Avatar 2, as we speak. "Well, I remember they were all crazy shit on the planet with the sick?" This time, the area monitored by 3D breasts Heidi Montag. They give me money now. "

Nochiketa Ghosh's contribution in Bengali films.

Nochiketa Ghosh’s contribution in Bengali films.

Nochiketa Ghosh had contributed widely both in Bengali film music and Bengali modern songs in the 50s, 60s and 70s. In the 50s he showed his metal in Uttam Kumar’s film Nabajanma. Manobendra Mukherjee’s song “ore mon majhi” and Dhananjoy Bhattacharya’s “kalama katiya” gave expression to Nochiketa Ghosh’s folk tunes.

Nochiketa Ghosh’s music in Uttam Kumar’s film Trijama was equally sublime. Sandhya Mukherjee’s song “banmoyurir naach dekhte jabo” and “matite chandramallika” were equally brilliant. In the 50s, the other notable films where Nochiketa Ghosh’s music was impressive include Uttam Kumar’s film Indrani and Prithibi Amare Chaye. Geeta Dutt’s song “nishiraat bankha chand”, “ogo shundoro”, “kanak kanak madhur badhon” were some of the greatest hits of Geeta Dutt in her entire career. The lips of Mala Sinha and Suchitra Sen were impressive in these films. Hemanta Mukherjee’s song “surjo dobar pala” became super hit in the late 80s.

In the 60s, Nochiketa Ghosh composed music in average films. Prominent among them included Bhanu Pelo Lottery where Shyamal Mitra’s song “putul nebe go” became very popular. He again made a huge comeback in Uttam Kumar’s film Nishi Padda in the early 70s. Manna Dey’s songs “ja khushi ora bole boluk”, “na na na aaj rate aar” became super hit in the 70s. Manna Dey’s songs in Uttam Kumar’s film Chiradiner, like “phool pakhi bondhu amar chilo”, “manush khun hole pore”, “lal nil sabujeri mela boseche”, “tumi amar chirodiner” became super hit.

In Uttam Kumar’s film Stree, Manna Dey’s songs “hajar takar jhar batita”, “o se jotoi kalo hok”, “jemon shapinike posh manay ojha” became. Nochiketa Ghosh’s music in the film Sanyasi Raja was considered to be his best creation by critics. Manna Dey’s songs “shashikanto tumi dekchi”, “bhalobashar agun jalao”, were probably the best songs sung for Uttam Kumar in royal andaz. His composition in Uttam Kumar’s films Dhanni Meye and Mouchak require special mention. Manna Dey’s songs in these films like “sab khela sera bangalir tumi football”, “tabole to prem debena”, “paglagarod”, etc., flabbergasted the Bengali audience in the mid-70s.

Nochiketa Ghosh made many landmark tunes in Bengali modern songs. Some of them included Manobendra Mukherjee’s romantic songs “seto naam dhore kono din dakeni amay”, “bone noy mone mor”, “o amar chandramallika”, “aha na roy na”, etc. His composition “amar ganer sworolipi lekha robe” for Hemanta Mukherjee stormed Bengal in the early 50s. He died in the late 70s, otherwise he would have given many more notable tunes. His songs and films should be preserved.

Angelina Jolie and mystery that is her mind blown up

[gallery_main-0305_angelina_00.jpg]
My bad! I completely ignored the photo of one hour, because I thought it was the same as yesterday, but it's new! Apparently Angelina was now on the balcony, and if even one of the twins. Perhaps one of the twins. Fame Pictures claims is now the son of Vivienne, but I see the earrings and this guy seems to Knox yesterday (if it was Knox) and Shiloh Jolie-Pitt in Cannes and fax numbers, and what they are.

[gallery_main-0305_angelina_04.jpg]
In addition, the child is returned to yesterday, when he / she has moved shirt with a little "friendly. In this series of photos, I see polka dots Bankie (s). I see a child who blew through that little mind in The sky and water, maybe. The girl looks great, what kills me.

[gallery_main-0305_angelina_05.jpg]

By the way, I think this group of photos may have begun as a game, "Spy" between mother and child. My parents did that for me, so I have a the thing. Obviously, it was F-cking obsessed with flags as a child, and I always knew, see the flag! "Seeing the flag!"

[gallery_main-0305_angelina_07.jpg]

I love the picture where it appears that Angelina Mystery cracked. If you are not laugh at their children, how to laugh?
