~Weekend Fun Extravaganza~

WOW!!!
That's all I gotta say.
What a fun, eventful, SUNNY weekend!

This post will be full of photos galore!!!

***More substinence later this week lol***

~Friday~
*Went to this new restaurant in Bellevue called
with the hubby for our date night!

We arrived with the door opened to us (aww), and a complimentary glass of champagne (yum yum!) while we waited for a table for about 10 mins
(not bad)
I order spicy chicken tacos and a margarita
Andy ordered a club sandwhich and a beer
Food: decent but over-priced like many places here in Bellevue.
Service: Great, they kept checking in on us every couple minutes. Bonus points for complimenting me on my hair:-)
BUT
I felt kinda like we were in a club?! The waitresses all had on short skirts and boob white tops.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not one of those "hater" girls
If you got it flaunt it right? ;-)
Just don't flirt with my hubby the whole time and not even look at me, k?  Just saying:-) ha ha

Overall we had a great date night. Love it.
~Saturday~
*Gym- ran another 3 miles holler!
*Went with the fam (hubby, 2 dogs) to one of our favorite places: Discovery Park
The weather was like 60 and sunny all weekend so we had to enjoy it right?! LOVELY views up above Puget Sound, and the hike was nice exercise for us all:-)
We took MANY pics . . . here are a few:-)

Then off to the In-laws for pastries from Bakery Neavou (AMAZING! In West Seattle . . . seriously they are to die for)

Then home to our hammock in the sun for some reading/cuddling time.

Finally to finish our day . . . off to our FAVE place, George and the Dragon.  This super fun English Pub in Seattle.  We're HUGE English Soccer (futbol) fans and have been going here since we first met;-) Awwww. Ha ha.

Mmmm Strongbow (cider, our fave.  If you haven't tried it, DO!)

~SUNDAY~
*Gym again (on a roll!)

*A few hours of gardening/yard work
(I hate when I start this b/c then all I think about is everything I need to do! Yikes . . . having a decent yard is hard work lemme tell ya.  Fun but time-consuming.

*Doubles Tennis match with our friend Chris and his girl.  All I can sayis we had a blast, a great workout and lots'a laughs.  We haven't played on a team yet and my hubby is a ball hog lol.  We came SOoooo close but lost ;-(

~MONDAY~
Vancouver!!!
Ummmm yeah how cool is it that the 2010 Winter Olympics are like 3 hours away?!  I know what you're thinking, and no we didn't make it to any games:-( BUT we hung out, ate, went to Stanley Park, shopped on Robson Street, and saw the whole town decked out in red and white!
So glad Andy took the day off, thanks sweets!!!

Weekend in review :-)

Ok first and foremost I want to give a big shoutout to New Orleans!!!
Ok so I didn't really care who won this year, it was a toss up and I would be happy either way, both GREAT teams
BUT my hubby and I had a bet, I picked the Saints to win,

SO I WIN!!!!

Hee hee
and how stinkin cute is Drew Brees celebrating with his family?!

Ok so here's a quick breakdown of my amazingly happy relaxing weekend:

*On of my *besties* Melissa had her baby!!!*
Timothy Xavier Brown Jr. was born Wed Feb. 3rd, coming in a week late and at 7 lbs. 9 oz.
He's BEAUTIFUL!!!
Although we're not quite at the point in our marriage to have our own,
I sure love being "Auntie Tammy"!!!

*My In-Laws are the best!!!*
Just sayin! Sooo I get home Friday after a LONG day at work to a gift . . .

Yup Andy's parents are stinking cute, always thinking about me and spoiling me, which I am not used to.  But I'll take it! Lol they are the cutest lil couple ever, we love to be around them and it's so cute how they still are so in love after 35 + some odd years of marriage.

Anywho I LOVE this bag, from Aldos

Nowwww I need this dress from Forever 21 to rock with the purse:-)

Tooo bad it's not warm and summery outside yet.  Oh well I'll just have to throw on a jacket right?  :-)

*I planned a Girl's Breakfast and movie date for Saturday*

It was a blast and sooo fun to get together.  Since we're all grown it seems like these events don't occur often enough! So we went to breakfast
bright and early at Pesos downtown Seattle.  Yum yum.  Many yummy plates were eaten, coffee and *mimosas* drank, stories told, and good times had.  And OF COURSE lots of laughter:-)

I LOVE MY GIRLS!!!

then we went to go see "Dear John".  I admire Nicholas Sparks for his amazing writing skills.  I've read many of his books and
"he's got mad skillz"

Anyway so the movie was cute, but wtf about the ending?  Not going to ruin it for ya'll . . .
but I decided to make up my own ending to satisfy my fairy tale thinking:-)

*Andy, Toby, Capri and I went to take a nice scenic walk through Discovery Park*
One of our fave parks (we even had our engagement photos here! More on that in another post) and the view was gorgeous.  Clouds with a little sunshine.  Lovely!

*SUSHI*
Andy and I had our weekly "date night", and went to our fave Sushi place.  I just LOVE the conveyer belt sushi b/c you can taste anything and everything you want.  We just keep on grabbing plates and eatting until we can't look at sushi anymore.
GREAT for my fitness challenge!

***Also did LOTS of crafts, went to gym 2x, watched football, and just cuddled in with the hubby***

How was your weekend?! Hope you all had a blasty blast!
