So first, let's get to know Sally and her lovely Etsy shop . . .
Me: "Where do you gather inspiration from?"
Sally: "Although I gather inspiration everywhere, I especially love words…hence the name of my shop…Word Garden. I am infatuated with meaningful phrases, positive quotations, and beautiful lyrics. I believe words well phrased can lift your spirit and expand your mind, so that you are stronger and happier because of it. I would not have had the courage to open my own Etsy shop without the inspiring words I have read over the years…they gave me optimism, hope, and determination."
Me: "Give us 2 words to describe your personal style"
Sally:"The best two words to describe my personal style are unusual and free-spirited. I enjoy creating without any rules, and anything different piques my interest."
Me: "What influenced you opening your Etsy shop?"Sally: "I was watching Decorating Cents one day and I googled one of my favorite designers from that show, Barbara Sculati. She had a link to her Etsy shop, so I clicked on it. I loved what I saw and immediately began planning my shop. It has been an amazing and wonderful journey so far…way better than I could even imagine in both sales, and in the wonderful worldwide customers I have the opportunity to converse with through email, on a daily basis."
Me: "Tell us a little bit about your creative process"
Sally: "My favorite thing to do is create! I pour myself a Diet Pepsi (yes, I am hooked on it,) and turn on my favorite music that inspires me. I adore working from home – no dress codes, no corporate rules to follow…I love what I do and am truly enjoying my life!"

Me: "What is your favorite item in your shop, or your top-seller?"
Sally: "The top-selling item in my shop is the Paris Document pillows. People love this fabric, and its quality is phenomenal…it is truly beautiful to look at and work with!"
"I had a wonderful customer purchase a pair of these pillows, then she went out and bought a new sofa “...to better match the pillows.” I love that story!"
Me: "Is there anything else that you would like to share with us about you or your fabulous creations?"
Sally: I would like to thank Etsy and the wonderful people like you, who feature my pillow shop on their blogs! This helpful exposure is instrumental in allowing me to follow my dream of both creating, and selling what I make, to people everywhere! Thank you very much!
