He had shifted his focus to the working in Pankaj Kapoor’s film Mausam opposite Sonam Kapoor. This had been Pankaj Kapoor’s directorial debut. He had made a love story which is going to be released soon.

Shahid Kapoor disclosed before the media that he had assisted his father during the making of the TV serial Mohandas BALLB. The TV serial became very popular in the late 90s. Every week, Pankaj Kapoor came up with a crime-thriller and the way in which he solved the mystery, it required a lot of innovative talent. Besides the serial was shot at exotic locations near Shimla, Manali and other hill stations.

Shahid Kapoor is also slated to go for foreign tour with Katrina Kaif, Priyanka Chopra and others. The young generation is big admirers of Shahid Kapoor. The film Milenge Milenge will do average business. The film had been directed by Satish Kaushik and had the fifth film of Kareena Kapoor and Shahid Kapoor together.

Had the film being released three years back, when Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor starrer Jab We Met stormed box-office the film would have done great business. At that time they were hot pair. After that Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor had acted in several films separately and got successes with them. Presently the viewers hardly are inclined to see both of them together.

In this film, Kareena Kapoor was in search of a prince, and a carrot reader Kiron Kher told her that she would get one very soon. She went to attend a youth festival in South Africa. There Shahid Kapoor, read the diary of Kareena Kapoor and realized the type of person Kareena was looking for.

Shahid Kapoor pretended to be the type of young man, Kareena wanted. But when Kareena came to know about it, she left Shahid Kapoor. The viewers of bollywood films wish happy birthday to Priyanka Chopra. Priyanka Chopra is today’s most popular actress of the bollywood film industry. She had started her career in bollywood films after she won the Miss India contest title. Since then she never looked back. Her first film Andaz opposite Akshay Kumar and Lara Dutta did well in the box office. But initially she haven’t got that much recognition, but with the film Mujshe Shaadi Karogi opposite Salman Khan and Akshay kumar , Priyanka Chopra became a leading star of the period.

She had got the grace, glamour and attitude in her which is very much wanted by today’s audience and young crowd. But these days whenever any actress crosses 30 years, or gets married the producers and directors discard them. So the period of success of the leading actresses are getting reduced day by day. Madhuri Dixit ruled bollywood films for more than ten years. But after her retirement every year Indian celluloid saw a new reigning queen.

The film Badmash Company, which had been released very recently, is doing great business. It had been directed by Parmeet Shetty and produced by Aditya Chopra.

Four youngstars namely Shahid Kapoor, Anushka Sharma, Meiyang Chang and Vir Das wanted to start a business after graduation. Their idea was to smuggle foreign goods and bring them in India and avoid heavy import duty.

Initially they did business in Bangkok. Then they did business in America. Shahid Kapoor fell in love with Anushka Sharma. But due to differences first Chang left the company. Then Vir Das left the company too. Anushka Sharma did not like concealing of facts which was done by Shahid Kapoor. She left the company too.

Shahid Kapoor was later arrested and imprisoned for 6 months. After he came out of prison he led an honest life. Anushka was carrying Shahid Kapoor’s child and then mitigated the differences. Chang and Vir Das also returned. At the end of the film they started a public sector company named “friends and company”.

The music of the film had been composed by Pritam. Recently Shahid Kapoor, Anushka Sharma, Vir Das and Chang came to Indian Idol show to promote their own film. Chang was well received by the judges Anu Malik, Sunidhi Chauhan and Salim Merchant as he was one the finalists in Indian Idol Show held in previous years.

The songs “badmash company” sung by Benny Dayal, “chaska” sung by Krishna, “fakeera” sung by Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, had become very popular. Shahid Kapoor is having a dream run from the time of acting in the film Kaminey.

Before coming to her prospect in 2009, her successful films require mention. After making her debut in JP Dutta’ s film Refugee, she rocked box-office with the film Mujhe Kuch Kehna Hai in 2001. It was the beginning of Tushar Kapoor also. Her films Yaadein opposite Hrithik Roshan and Ajnabee opposite Bobby Deol did average business. The only success at that time was the film Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham opposite Hrithik Roshan. Her performance in the role of princess Kaurwaki in the film Ashoka opposite Shahrukh Khan got severely criticized and her popularity decreased at that time.

Even her films Mai Prem Ki Diwani Hoon or Mujhse Dosti Karoge could not change her fortunes. At that period her performance in an off-beat role in the film Chameli brought her appreciation from the critics. She played the role of a prostitude in Sudhir Misra’s realistic film. But from the time spend time with Saif Ali Khan again career lost direction. Her film Tashan opposite him was box-office disaster. Her other film Golmaal Returns did moderate business but that was due to joint effort of Ajay Devgan, Tushar Kapoor and others.

In 2009 her films that are either released or about to be released include Kambakkht Ishq opposite Akshay Kumar, Three Idiots opposite Amir Khan, Mai Aur Mrs. Khanna opposite Salman Khan and Milenge Milenge. Kambakkht Ishq had been shot in Universal Studios, Hollywood and has a huge prospect.

None of Amir Khan’s films had failed in the last three years, so Kareena has a lot of hope in Three Idiots. Even Salman Khan is wanting to make a comeback with hit films through Mai and Mrs Khanna. If two of these three films become successful, Kareena can get back her number one spot which she lost in 2008 and her competitors like Priyanka Chopra gained in 2008. Critics had said several times that Kareena Kapoor has much more acting talent than Katrina Kaif, if she chooses right films and does well, she can still be in the rat race. Vishal Bharadwaj had addressed the viewers of bollywood films with his new film Kaminey after some time. It is based on the story of two twin brothers who hate each other.

Shahid Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra had been cast in the lead roles in the film. Shahid Kapoor played the double roles of Guddu and Charlie. Guddu started his life from the famous slum in Mumbai called Dharavi, but joined a NGO firm. He was honest, generous and hardworking. He had the ambition of crossing the different levels and reaching higher summits in the corporate world.

On the other hand Charlie was involved in betting in the race course. He wanted to climb the ladder of success with a short-cut route. His ambition was to be a legitimate bookie and get recognition. He had the skills for the job and did well.

Both the brothers had defects in their speech. Guddu stammered whenever he was nervous. Charlie also had other kinds of communication problems. Both the brothers hated each other. On one day, Charlie faced a problem with his rival bookies and also was chased by cops.

While Guddu was involved in street play his girlfriend Sweety Bhope came and said that she became pregnant. When he wanted to marry her, he found there was new problem. Her brothers were dons, and chased him for the unfortunate happenings.

It was at that part of the film where the two brothers who hated each other came closer. The performance of Shahid Kapoor in double role was very impressive. Priyanka Chopra was full of energy as usual.

Vishal Bharadwaj’s story and direction has the elements of success. The music also has been given by Vishal Bharadwaj, which was equally impressive. The lyrics are written by Gulzar.

In a nutshell it can be said that the film will be a hit film and viewers should go to the halls and watch the film.

Yet when the question of recognition did arise the entire credit was taken up by Kareena Kapoor. She received the filmfare award for the best actress for her performance in the film. Even Pritam who composed melodious songs in the film was unrewarded.

Shahid Kapoor’s other successful films included Chup Chup Ke. For most part of the film he pretended to be a deaf and dumb person. He worked with Rajpal Yadav in the house of Om Puri and got associated with Kareena Kapoor. Later in the film his identity was disclosed. His performance in that film was also extraordinary.

The other successful films of Shahid Kapoor include Kismat Connection with Vidya Balan, 36 China Town with Kareena Kapoor, to name a few. In 36 China Town, Shahid Kapoor along with Kareena Kapoor were suspected for murdering a woman in the house. The investigation was carried out by Akshay Khanna and later the servants of the house were found as the actual murderers. The film was serio-comic in nature with Paresh Rawal, Johnny Lever also contributing in respective roles.

Shahid Kapoor had outstanding dancing skills. He exhibited it in films like Jab We Met, 36 China Town, etc. With serious competition in the bollywood industry Shahid Kapoor badly needs a big hit in the future to maintain his stardom.

He had established himself as a romantic actor. He has to contribute well in action films, political films and other types of films in future.
