Reema Lamba, better known as Mallika Sherawat made her onscreen appearance in the music video titled Lak Tunno and then switched over to films. In 2003, she acted in the film Khwahish.

But she attracted the attention of the viewers with her performance in the film Murder, which was an adaptation of the film Unfaithful. The film was written by Mahesh Bhatt, directed by Anurag Basu, with Anu Malik providing hit songs.

In the film Murder, Mallika was a married girl, who got involved with another person played by Imraan Hashmi. Eventually Imraan Hashmi was killed and Mallika was accused for the murder of the person. But actually it was her husband who had killed Imraan Hashmi. The song “kaho na kaho” which was inspired from the Amr Diab’s song “tamaly maak” became very popular.

Mallika acted also in the film Myth, opposite Jackie Chan. With hit films like pyar ke Side Effects, Aap Ka Suroor and Welcome, she had proved her acting capability and directors started casting her in strong roles in addition to item numbers. In Welcome she had acted opposite senior actors like Anil Kapoor and Nana Patekar and hit pair of Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif.

In 2008, her film Ugly Aur Pagli, opposite Ranvir Shorey, had been released. Ranvir shorey, an engineering student entered into an affair with Mallika. The story relating to the ill-tempered Mallika and the slavery of Ranvir had just been directed as a comedy film where the viewers can enjoy their interaction and witty moments.

Her other film Maan Gaye Mughal-e-Azam is also going to be released soon in 2008. with aggressive performances in the last few years, the viewers expect that Mallika Sherawat will show her variation in acting in the years to come.

Lara Dutta did extremely well in the film No Entry. She had the habit of suspecting her husband Anil Kapoor about having affair with other girls. Eventually Anil Kapoor entered into an affair with Bipasha Basu who was sned by Salman Khan to get involved with Anil Kapoor.

Her entry into the lives of Anil Kapoor and Fardeen Khan had resulted in both the persons losing peace in their family and getting divorce suits from their wives. Ultimately Salman Khan came from abroad to resolve the matter and he resolved it after playacting infront of his wife Esha Deol.

Lara Dutta also acted in multistarrer films like Jhoom Barabar Jhoom, where she acted opposite Bobby Deol, while Preti Zinta acted apposite Abhishek Bachan. She was also sublime in the film Partner, opposite Salman Khan. Salman Khan trained other persons about the art of love. He trained Govinda about making himself presentable before Katrina Kaif who was smart and elegant in the film. Lara Duta was also a smart girl in the film who was ultimately impressed by Salman Khan.

She also acted in crime thrillers like Jurm and also suspense thrillers like Kaal and showed her acting skills in these films.

Even the song that was picturised on Kareena Kapoor, titled “yeh mera dil pyar ka dewaana” became successful.

With Priyanka Chopra playing important roles in the films of 2008, including Love Story 2050, the viewers expect that she will do well in the films in future and give good lips in the songs that will be picturised on her.

She got partial success in the film Shaadi No. 1, where she herself, Aarti Chhabria and Sophie Chowdhury influenced Fardeen Khan, Zayed Khan and Sharman Joshi and that led to problems in their marital life. Their wives Esha Deol, Ayesha Takia and Soha Ali Khan were informed by Sanjay Dutt, about the activities of their husbands. Aishwarya Rai had played different roles in her successful career in bollywood films. She was sublime even in her negative roles that she had played over the years. In the film Khakee, she joined Big B’s team of police officers who were involved in a mission of escorting supposed terrorist Iqbal Ansari from Chandergarh to Mumbai.


The team included Ajay Devgan, Akshay Kumar and Tushar Kapoor who had experience and were brave enough to fulfill the mission. Before the team reached Mumbai they faced a number of encounters and in a serious encounter in a cottage near Mumbai the team was outnumbered. Akshay Kumar was also killed by Aishwarya Rai and Ajay Devgan. The viewers were surprised to see Aishwarya Rai in such a negative role.

In Dhoom -2, she acted again in a negative role opposite Hrithik Roshan, where both of them were international criminals involved in theft and other notorious activities. Abhishek Bacchan chased them and thought he had killed Hrithik Roshan. But it was play acting, as he later found both of them in a different country involved in a different occupation.


He left both of them after they disclosed the place where they did hide all the stolen property and assured him that they were living the life of law-abiding citizens. The viewers liked the role of Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya Rai and they impressed the crowds even with their negative characters.

These days many actresses take up the challenge of performing in negative roles including Kajol, Bipasha Basu, Kareena Kapoor. Aishwarya Rai also did well and the viewers expect her to continue her good work in all types of films in future.

After that his property consisting of diamonds was supposed to be distributed between his son, his daughter and son in law. Amrita Arora, the wife of the dentist played by Altaf Shivdasani, got involved in the battle between Akshay Kumar, Rahul Dev, Sunil Shetty, Paresh Rawal, etc., when she lived next door to Akshay Kumar and others. Although the film involved action sequences, Amrita Arora impressed the viewers with her own performance in the film.

She also acted in the film Girlfriend where Isha Koppikar also played a significant role. The film was related to the relationship between both the girls.

She also acted in the film Fight Club – Members Only, where leading characters were played by Dino Morea, Ritesh Deshmukh, Zayed Khan and other actors. All these characters were involved in affairs, and Amrita Arora and Diya Mirza created an impact in their life. It was an action film, but again Amrita Arora had played her part very well.

There are number of films of Amrita Arora which are going to be released in 2008. Madhuri Dixit was sublime in the film Khel, opposite Anil Kapoor. The song in the film “khat likhna hai’ became extrmely successful due to the choreography of Madhuri Dixit. Saroj Khan had been very prominent in most of the dance sequences that were picturised on Madhuri Dixit.

Other hit songs of Madhuri Dixit include “ek do teen”, from the film Tezaab. Also the songs from the film Dil, opposite Amir Khan including “hum pyar karne wale”, was successful in the early 90s. Madhuri gave adequate lips in the song “didi tera dewar diwana” opposite Salman Khan.

Madhuri Dixit also provided successful performance in the film Devdas, opposite Shahrukh Khan and Aishwarya Rai in the song ‘dil dola re”, where both Madhuri and Aishwarya performed together.
