I'm the kind of person that takes on way too much and never wants to give anything up

but life gets nuts.

It's time to say goodbye to the unnecessary tasks, thoughts, draining friendships, etc and open doors for new adventures!!!

Happy Friday my dearies!

Today I am homebound re-couping from a surgery to remove another bad mole from my back (more on this in another post another day!)

All that matters is that I am happy, healthy,

and more aware of taking care of my body than ever!

Everything happens for a reason.

So with my s.p.f. always on hand and a fun floppy hat for spring/summer I wanted to wish you all a

What I am doing to do my part on Earth Day:

~Not driving at all~

~Keeping the lights down and instead going outside~

~Recycling (ok I do this everyday)~

~Donating items not using instead of throwing anything out~

~Repurposing some old decor pieces into new ones~

Hurray!

I am soooo excited.

Yup right now I am sitting in my back yard with our fountain running.

Ok so maybe I'm wearing jeans and a T, BUT I am soaking up the sun while my 3 dogs are wandering around getting into all kinds of trouble . . . eating plants, barking at the sounds . . . silly rascals!

Oh I am always "working" but today I get off of my day job to work on my other jobs hee hee

On the agenda:

*Finishing up orders from my shop

*Met with a bride and their location today

*Went to check out a boutique lingerie store that will be holding a bridal event that I get to market my new biz at (sweet!)

*Bought a book at Barnes and Noble (Total nerd but I love me my bookstores!)

*Enjoyed a yummy iced skinny vanilla latte

*The hubby and I both have "mole removal" appts. Oh the joys of being a red head and tanning when I was younger.

(We're totally having "moley" kids that I will slather up and down in sun block daily!)

*Pho date for dinner

Our weekend:

Continuing working on my bathoom

Tomorrow guys are coming out to install my deeper tub (yayyy bubble baths!)

install recessed lighting above the tub

install my ligting above vanity.

I am meeting with another potential bride tomorrow

Softball practice

and whatever else we decide to do!

Tween pop singer Rebecca Black sings "Friday", about an 8th grader getting ready for the weekend and partying. This overnight sensation has started a media storm. With the help of Auto Tune voice technology, Ark Music Factory wants Rebecca Black to be the next tween sensation, and it seems like it is working. So much negative attention attached to this song as one of the worst songs ever. Instantly parodies are also flocking online with lyrics making fun of pop tunes and senseless lyrics.

Honestly this song is pretty lame, but it does have a catchy tune. The lyrics are incredibly bad, like cringingly bad BUT she is a young girl. It's not her fault she has reached media fame, it's viewers like us! Despite if we love it or hate it, we're still buzzing to find out about her and listen to this song. When Good Morning American put her on the spot to sing, Rebecca Black actually proved that she does have some sort of voice and talent, it's not all auto tune.

Due to this great attention on the cyber world, many spoofs are coming out related to this song. A funny one I found is called "Wednesday", you can check it out below.

As of now, Rebecca Black's "Friday" has 16 million hits online and counting!!! It is also #39 on iTunes Top 100 beating her own idol Justin Bieber who she dreams to do a duet with. The official YouTube video has over 17 million hits!!!
